Rory Patrick Broderick, a beloved young man with a zest for life, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2025, at the age of 19, surrounded by his family and friends. Born on May 17, 2005, Rory brought light and energy into the lives of everyone he met. His tragic passing in a motorcycle accident has left a void in the hearts of his loved ones and the community.

Academic and Athletic Excellence
Rory graduated from Hersey High School in Arlington Heights in 2023, where he discovered his love for mechanics and automotive technology. His dedication earned him a place in the National Technical Honor Society. Post-graduation, Rory enrolled at Harper Community College to further his education.
An avid athlete, Rory shined on the volleyball court, playing on his high school varsity team and at the club level. His enthusiasm for the sport extended beyond playing; he began coaching and recently took up refereeing, sharing his love for the game with others.
Cherished by Family and Community
Rory leaves behind his mother, Jennifer Haydock; father, Richard Broderick; and sisters Caitlin Strozewski (Kevin), Zoe Strozewski (Chris), Emma Strozewski, and Lila Broderick. His grandmother, Susan Haydock, and numerous other relatives and friends will forever remember his vibrant spirit.
